Rodin Cathedral
Rodin Cathedral
Symbolism
Inspired by Auguste Rodin’s iconic sculpture "The Cathedral," this silver pendant captures the essence of two right hands coming together to form an arch, reminiscent of Gothic architecture. Rodin's original work, celebrated for its powerful simplicity and profound meaning, symbolizes the human connection and the spiritual union between individuals. The hands, nearly touching, evoke a sense of nearness and intimacy that is both physical and metaphorical, reflecting themes of togetherness and mutual understanding.
This miniature version translates Rodin's vision into a tangible form that can be worn close to the heart, serving as a reminder of the connections that uplift and sustain us throughout life. Its intricate detailing and elegant form make it a meaningful piece of jewellery that resonates with Rodin's exploration of human interaction and the spaces between us.
